Town Hall Meeting: Roadmap to Optimize Payment in our Profession

Payment is often the quiet variable behind almost every decision in this profession. It’s what funds the infrastructure behind the care itself: the equipment and space invested in, the Teams being built, and the professional growth offered to clinicians who pour their time, energy, and expertise into this work every day.
No more quiet – it’s time to speak up! That’s exactly why APTA Rhode Island is hosting a Payment Town Hall on September 23rd at 7:00pm – a working session built for listening and conversation, on where payment actually stands right now.

We’ll cover it at three levels:
1. What the roadmap to improve payment means this year – nationally, for the profession, and here in Rhode Island
2. What’s already being done – APTA’s national advocacy, PPS payment policy work, SPARC provider resources, legislative efforts, and local insurance negotiations here at home
3. What it means for you, in your practice, this year

APTA RI Leaders would love to hear from YOU – students, new professionals entering the field, seasoned clinicians and leaders across the state, each coming at this problem from a different vantage point, all pulling toward the same goal.
